4 arrested after guns, drugs, and ammunition found in Tulare County

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Four people were arrested following a multi-agency operation in Tulare County, the Visalia Police Department announced on Monday.

Over the last three months, the Tuare County Agencies Regional Gun Enforcement Team Taskforce has been conducting an investigation into the illegal possession and sale of firearms throughout the county.

Police said during the operation they recovered six firearms, including a privately manufactured AR-15 style short-barrel rifle, a Mac 11 assault pistol, a Ruger 5.7 mm pistol, a Sig Sauer P320 pistol and another privately made handgun. In addition, they say they seized approximately 600 rounds of ammunition and 40 grams of cocaine.

Among those arrested was 31-year-old Albert Anderson of Tulare, 34-year-old Hailee Brinckerhoff of Tulare, 43-year-old Ishmael Johnson Sr., of Visalia and 33-year-old Amos Broadnax of Visalia, police say.

All the suspects were taken into custody in connection with the investigation.
