CHP says graveyard units responded to a wrong-way crash on Highway 99.
Investigators determined a driver was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes when it collided with another vehicle near Mission Campus.
Officers on scene report the wrong-way driver was ultimately arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
No major injuries were reported, however, CHP says the circumstances could have been much worse. Officers remind the public that if they plan to drink, they should not plan to drive.
