On the morning of Saturday, May 31, the Roscoe Volunteer Fire Department responded to a bee attack in the 2800 block of County Road 101. One person was transported to the hospital for treatment, and their condition is currently unknown.

Roscoe crews assisted a local beekeeper in removing the bees to prevent further incidents. The department also expressed gratitude to Russell High for donating a bee suit.
“We’d also like to extend a big thank you to Mr. Russell High for the generous donation of a bee suit to the department. This gear will be a valuable asset for future responses involving bee-related calls,” the fire department shared online.
