Grass fire sparks at Singleton Landfill, flames extinguished
(KRON) – The San Jose Fire Department responded to a grass fire early Sunday morning.
The blaze was reported at around 12:13 a.m. at the Singleton Landfill property on the 800 block of Singleton Road. The department said the fire impacted approximately two acres.
The flames were extinguished less than an hour later.
SJFD said there were no reported injuries.

The cause of the flames has not been determined, according to fire officials.
