SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Detectives are searching for a man accused of ‘defrauding a resident out of tens of thousands of dollars.’
According to the Shreveport Police Department, Kameron Jackson is currently wanted for home improvement fraud, as he allegedly contracted to complete a residential construction project but failed to do so after receiving significant payment.
SPD states, “As of today, the victim has paid Jackson a total of $47,700. However, the only work completed on the project has been demolition. No further progress has been made, and Jackson has not returned to the job site.”
Police confirmed Jackson’s business is “King’s Home Renovations LLC” located at 624 Texas St., Apt. 701, Shreveport.
Anyone with information on the accused’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
Those who submit anonymous tips through the Caddo Crime Stoppers app or website may be eligible to receive a cash reward for information leading to Jackson’s arrest.
