The Super Duper location, owned by EBURGER LLC, is at 2201 Chesnut Street.
“Observed mice droppings on floor along wall, behind equipment at upstairs prep area and basement prep area, and back dry storage area,” states the routine inspection report from May 29.
The report orders the popular burger restaurant to take corrective measures such as cleaning and sanitizing, having food stored in more elevated areas, and keeping non-food items away from food to avoid vermin infestation.
The inspector’s observations echo this in the report when they state that Super Duper “need(s) to vermin proof entire facility” and “non-functional fryer and cast-off items at basement back alleyway, right outside the storage area, potential for vermin harborage area.”
Super Duper Burgers released the below statement to KRON4.
Super Duper’s Marina location is not closed. We are operating on a conditional pass and are working closely with the health department to assuage the situation. We are working diligently to mitigate this as quickly as possible; however, as this does not affect our cooking or service areas, Super Duper is open to the public as we rectify our back of house spaces.”
