Multi-vehicle wreck forces lane closures on southbound I-55 near Halsted in Chicago

Illinois State Police say around 4:10 p.m., troopers responded to I-55 southbound at Halsted Street for the wreck that has since resulted in the closures of three right lanes.

Citing the early stages of their investigation, ISP did not specify how many people were hurt or the severity of their injuries.
