Police: Wanted Rockford woman arrested for driving on revoked license, firearm found
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Carla Jimenez, 39, on warrants for driving on a revoked license and possessing a weapon.

On March 28, around 5:30 p.m., officers went to Steve’s Market on West State Street to search for Jimenez. Authorities reported that the suspect had fled from a traffic stop earlier that day.

Deputies located Jimenez in the store and took her into custody.

She proceeded to kick and slap officers, causing officials to tase her, according to court records.

Authorities searched the suspect’s car and found a loaded pistol in her purse.

Jimenez is charged with possession of a firearm without a FOID, driving on a revoked license, felon possession of a weapon and resisting an officer.
