Jefferson Parish officials discuss 2025 hurricane preparations
GRETNA, La. (WGNO) — Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng and other officials will hold a hurricane preparedness press conference 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 29 at the Emergency Operations Center.
According to parish officials, this is an opportunity for parish leaders to inform the public about preparations they and others have taken, and to encourage residents to prepare as well.
The NOAA is predicting above normal hurricane activity in the Atlantic basin.
