SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — It’s warming up Thursday in the Bay Area with less fog than yesterday and daytime highs later in the afternoon ranging from the 60s to the 80s.

A cool west wind will still moderate temperatures today, with tomorrow being the true heat spike. Temperatures on Friday are expected to rise well into the 90s inland, if not into the 100s for a few spots.

Saturday will remain hot before much cooler weather begins on Sunday. Next week will continue to trend cooler and much more seasonable.

Sunrise in San Francisco is at 5:50 a.m. Sunset is at 8:24 p.m.
