Tatiana Williams says she started buying flowers during the pandemic to brighten up her surroundings. She wanted to extend the beauty of flowers to the community.
In 2024, Williams saw the perfect foundation to grow a flower shop in a vacant building at 1415 West 79th Street. She was able to purchase the building from the Cook County Land Bank and received a Chicago Community Development grant.
On Wednesday, the site became the future home for Tati’s Florals.
