Mobile prosthetics company in Baton Rouge opens new location in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Orthotic & Prosthetic Solutions in Baton Rouge has opened a new location in Shreveport.

Orthotic & Prosthetic Solutions (OPS), which was founded in 2019, uses advanced techniques like 3D printing to make custom-built prosthetics and orthotics that are delivered in just seven to 14 days. According to the press release, OPS focuses on mobile services and can deliver directly to patients, especially those in rural communities or with limited transportation, ensuring that everyone has access to their resources. The company provides services to the entire state of Louisiana and Mississippi.

OPS was founded by D’Andre Mostella, a certified prosthetist and board-eligible orthotist. In addition to his clinical services, Mostella also mentors and advocates for young athletes and individuals who have faced physical challenges.
