Antwon Stott, 36, was charged with the following offenses:
Authorities with the Indianapolis Crime Guns Task Force were conducting an investigation on Tuesday, May 20, at the 6400 block of Hoover Rd. when Stott allegedly mistook an undercover detective for a member of an ‘opposition group,’ according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Stott reportedly attempted to block the detective’s unmarked vehicle, he then chased the officer for approximately two miles. The undercover detectives then radioed for assistance. The backup officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but a pursuit ensued.
Stott first fled in his car, then eventually on foot. He was located with the help of additional police, and K9 units.
