The restaurant was featured in the magazine’s “Best of the Rest” category, which recognizes outstanding barbecue spots across Texas.
According to Texas Monthly, “Lines often wrap around the outdoor seating area at Jay’s BBQ Shack, so it’s best to arrive around opening time.”
Jay’s BBQ Shack is located at 602 South 11th Street in Abilene.
