Two Jackson police officers arrested after fight with Ridgeland Walmart employee

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Two Jackson police officers were arrested after a fight with a Ridgeland Walmart employee, authorities said.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said Officers Jordan J. Lewis and Terrinesheya N. Dampeer were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct by Ridgeland police. They were allegedly involved in a fight with a Walmart employee at the store around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 24.

Investigators said the employee was also arrested by Ridgeland police.

According to Brown, both Lewis and Dampeer were both off-duty at the time of the incident. They’ve been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
