According to officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, crews responded to the area of S Emerson Avenue and Todd Road at around 7:54 a.m. on Tuesday on a report of a personal injury accident.
Officials said that this was a single vehicle personal injury accident involving an IndyGo bus. IMPD said that the driver of the bus is awake and breathing but “has a complaint of pain.”
The bus reportedly struck a guardrail and came to a stop. The department said that the bus is expected to be towed from the scene.
Officials with IndyGo told FOX59/CBS4 that no passengers or other vehicles were involved.
