HEMSI: Young adult in critical condition after falling from hiking area on Monte Sano

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Authorities say a young man fell from a hiking area on Monte Sano Monday.

HEMSI spokesperson Don Webster told News 19 that crews with the department and Huntsville Fire & Rescue responded to a call about a man who fell a “substantial distance” at Three Caves on the Land Trust of North Alabama’s Monte Sano Nature Preserve.

Webster said the victim was taken to Huntsville Hospital’s Trauma Services in critical condition.
