Man hospitalized after falling into Lake Michigan while biking on Chicago’s South Side

CHICAGO — A 67-year-old man has been hospitalized after falling into Lake Michigan on the South Side of Chicago Sunday afternoon.

The Chicago Police Department says the man was riding a bicycle in the 3900 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive when he fell into the water at around 3 p.m.

A CPD marine unit rescued the man, and he was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
