Driver killed in Sebastopol crash
(KRON) — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Sebastopol Saturday, when a Nissan Pathfinder hit a tree on Bloomfield Road, south of Harvard Drive, the California Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened at about 4:04 p.m. The driver was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries, where they were later pronounced dead.

“Preliminary investigation indicates the Nissan was traveling southbound on Bloomfield Road when it crossed into the northbound lane, continued onto the shoulder and collided with a tree,” CHP said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact CHP’s Santa Rosa office.
