Corps gives safety advice for Memorial Day boating


Recent rainfall has caused some of the local lakes to raise in water level. With more rain possible upcoming for Memorial Day, KTLO News spoke with Chief Ranger for the Corps of Engineers at Norfork and Bull Shoals Lakes Dylan Edwards to give safety advice for boaters.




Edwards cautions boaters to stay aware while out on the water.

With the impacts the parks have seen, Edwards says visitors should not only exercise caution, but also patience.

In addition to boat ramp impacts, patience will be important for visitors as Memorial Day is one of the busiest weekends for water activities.
