We could see a slight chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm over the northern part of the area. Rain is now looking more promising on Sunday. There is a good chance that we will see some showers and thunderstorms over the northern half of the area. The storms will probably hold off until Sunday evening or Sunday night over the southern half of the area. Onslaught of rain next week: Sunday’s showers and thunderstorms will likely be just the beginning. It is possible that we could see some strong to severe storms on Monday, with the strongest storms over the southern half of the area. The threat of scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through most of next week. As of right now, it appears that we could start to dry out next week. Daytime highs during the next ten days will begin in the 90s on Saturday and Sunday. Once the rain begins, it will not be as hot. Highs next week will mainly be in the low to middle 80s. Overnight lows will begin in the 70s and then settle into the 60s next week.
