She was first arrested on April 16 after Mountain Home police officers responded to a physical domestic altercation at an address along Indian Circle.
Bale
Once brought to the Baxter County Detention Center, Bale is reported to have continued to lash out at officers – hitting and kicking at them as they attempted to get her out of the patrol car that brought her to the jail. She was also reported to have kicked the interior of the vehicle.
Bale was also alleged to have spit at officers and a mask was put over her face to prevent her from continuing that activity as she was being booked and put into a detox cell.
When officers arrived on scene April 16, a woman, later identified as Bale, came out of the house and began to yell. She was asked if she had called 911 and responded that she “would never call 911.”
The person making the call told the officers that Bale and an unnamed man had been fighting and that the male had left the scene prior to their arrival.
Bale then began to threaten the officers and demanded they leave the property.
When one of the officers stepped onto the porch, Bale is alleged to have charged at him. The officer took Bale to the ground and the second officer also came onto the porch and assisted in the attempt to get Bale under control.
Bale began to kick at the officers. As they held Bale on the ground waiting on the arrival of another officer with ankle restraints.
She is reported to have continued to make threats and said at one point that the officers were going to be “sorry” for arresting her.
Bale proceeded to curl up in a ball and had to be carried to a patrol car. She was reported to have attempted to bite an officer multiple times.
After she was put into the vehicle, she began to kick the Plexiglas barrier dividing the front and back seats and the passenger side window.
After arriving at the detention center, Bale continued to lash out at officers and jail staff until she was finally put into a cell.
Bale had been in jail for about 10 days when the next incident occurred. During a female cell check, Bale is alleged to have walked out of the Pod where she was housed and toward the booking area.
When jail staff ordered her to return to her cell, Bale refused and hit a female jailer on the right shin with her right crutch and continued to swing her crutches until staff took control of them.
An officer eventually picked Bale up and took her to the cell.
According to the probable cause affidavit, there was a strong odor of intoxicants coming from her person during her initial arrest.
Her bond is set at $10,000 and she was ordered to have no contact with the victims and not to drink alcohol.
