ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Turhane Henderson, 27, was sentenced to 14 years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of criminal sexual assault.
In February 2023, Rockford Sensitive Crime Detectives investigated reports that a victim was raped in the parking lot of Patriots Gateway Center in the 600 block of South 5th Street.
The woman told authorities she was pulled into the suspect’s car and raped her. The victim said she tried to get away multiple times.

Henderson was identified in a photo lineup by the victim.
Henderson is required to serve the sentence at 85%. He will be on mandatory supervised release for three years to natural life as well.
