Report: EF2 tornado damaged utility poles, trees in Shackelford County

SHACKELFORD COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An EF2 tornado destroyed some utility poles and trees during severe storms in Shackelford County Sunday.

The National Weather Service reports the tornado, which sustained wind speeds of 111 to 135 miles per hour, touched down near County Road 109 just before 5:30 p.m.

It traveled less than a mile, destroying utility poles and tress along it’s path.

No injuries or destruction to homes or buildings have been reported in connection to this tornado.
