ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Demarius Styles, 33, for allegedly attacking a 61-year-old man and invading a home.
On April 13, around 7:30 p.m., officers were called to the 400 block of South New Towne Road for reports of a large fight. Authorities saw around 40 people near the residence when they arrived.

A victim told officials that Styles punched him multiple times while he was trying to break up the fight. The man had visible injuries, according to court records.
Police viewed numerous videos that showed the group confrontation, including Styles attacking the 61-year-old.
Styles is charged with aggravated battery of a 61-year-old, home invasion causing injury and mob action causing violence.
