Marion home search leads to 2 arrests, drug seizure

INDIANAPOLIS — A search warrant at a home in Marion led to two arrests as well as the seizure of illegal narcotics.

According to a news release, the JEAN Team Drug Task Force, along with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and the Marion Police Department, conducted an investigation surrounding the dealing of illegal narcotics.

On Tuesday, law enforcement obtained a search warrant for a home in the 100 block of N. E. Street in Marion, where the following items were reportedly seized:

  • 10.9 grams of marijuana
  • 7.1 grams of hydrocodone pills
  • 12.2 grams of fentanyl
  • 32.9 grams of methamphetamine
  • 1.7 grams of M30 fentanyl pills
  • 12.4 grams of legend drugs/pills
  • Packaging material, scales and paraphernalia

The following individuals were arrested and preliminarily charged in Grant County:

Tracey Oxendine, 40

  • One count of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug with intent to deliver, a Level 2 felony
  • One count of dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony
  • One count of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug with intent to deliver, a Level 3 felony
  • One count of dealing in a schedule two controlled substance, a Level 3 felony
  • One count of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug with intent to deliver, a Level 4 felony
  • One count of possession of a legend drug, a Level 6 felony
  • One count of maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony
  • Two drug-related misdemeanors

Tyrell Lenior, 35

  • One count of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug with intent to deliver, a Level 2 felony
  • One count of dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony
  • One count of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug with intent to deliver, a Level 3 felony
  • One count of dealing in a schedule two controlled substance, a Level 3 felony
  • One count of possession of a legend drug, a Level 6 felony
  • One count of maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony
  • Two drug-related misdemeanors

The release said that both Oxendine and Lenior were transported to the Grant County Jail. This is an ongoing investigation, officials said.
