The Baton Rouge Police Department was called to the shooting in the 9988 block of Florida Boulevard and started an investigation.

That suspect was identified as Scott. He is accused of following the vehicle that contained the two occupants.
At some point, Scott drove up next to their vehicle and fired one shot into the passenger side, according to BRPD.
