The sheriff’s department posted on social media that around 8 a.m. on Friday, May 23, deputies got word that Daniel Edwards, 42, of Hinkle, was found in the Turkey area.
KCSD deputies wrote that Edwards had been accused of robbing and shooting another man on May 8 on KY-718 in the Walker community.
Around noon on Friday, after roughly four hours of searching in the mountains, law enforcement in Knox County reportedly found and arrested Edwards. He was charged with:
Edwards was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
