Ya’Lisha Gatewood took over the Cares Krewe to try her hand at being a barista at Bossier City’s PJ’s Coffee and surprised locals at the counter.
The Cares Krewe bought coffee and breakfast for coworkers before they headed into the office, and even sent them to work with some sweet treats for their office.
The Cares Krewe got to be sneaky again and surprise another local.
“Are you serious? It is. That’s so sweet. Thank you!” said the community member. Along with her free coffee, she received a sweet treat.
The Cares Krewe continues its mission to spread kindness, love, and smiles weekly to community members.
The Cares Krewe looks for deserving recipients each week! You can nominate someone to receive a surprise today. Just click here to submit your nomination or to give us an idea of an organization deserving of a surprise.
