The app can take a bit of time to get started in order to explore your phone’s storage and display all of its files and folders in as organized a manner as possible. The app essentially starts by showing you all the folders present on your phone’s internal storage and you can sort these by name, last modified, size and folder type. Ascending and descending sorting orders are implementable depending on your choice. You can also see hidden files and folders present on your phone. These files and folders are usually created by some apps in a deceptive manner while some are also created by system apps.
The file manager app also offers multiple different tools to improve your browsing experience. There are ready-made folders for images, videos, audios, documents and APKs. These folders only contain files that are relevant to the folder type. This can make your life very easy as you won’t need to go to separate folders to look at your image files as these would all be sorted into one quick access images folder by the app. You can also mark a few files and folders by the ‘star’ sign and then they would start appearing in your Quick Access folder which is directly accessible from the app’s home screen.
The file manager app’s best feature is its app handling tool. The app manager allows you to take a look at all the apps installed on your phone including system apps. There are multiple actions that you can perform while using the app manager. This includes creating app backup, viewing its properties and viewing its storage usage as well. You can also take a look at the permissions granted to the app while you can also view the app’s current battery usage. Finally, the file manager app also offers the option to uninstall the app. Keep this in mind though that you should only uninstall apps that you have installed yourself as uninstalling system related apps might cause the android OS to crash.
There is one thing that is slightly irritating about the app though and it is the constant bombardment of ads while it is being used. It is understandable that the file manager app has to earn revenue with ads but it should be arranged in a manner that the user experience is not severely hampered.
