According to a news release, deputies with the Howard County Sheriff’s Office were called on May 18 in response to reports of “significant” damage occurring overnight at the Russiaville Youth Baseball Complex and nearby properties.
Deputies arrived and found graffiti containing explicit language sprayed on dugouts, signage and other structures. Vandalism was also found at a nearby basketball court, road signs, mailboxes and private properties along South 750 West and North Union.

The juveniles have been preliminarily charged with Criminal Mischief, which is a Class A Misdemeanor. They are currently being detained at the Kinsey Youth Center following their arrests.
The case remains under active investigation. Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact HCSO at 765-614-3471.
