Rock County Sheriff’s Office hosts first fishing event for youth

ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WTVO) — Rock County’s Sheriff Curtis Fell has announced the department’s first fishing event happening in June.

The Cops & Bobbers event will give 20 children ages 7-12 the chance to go fishing with a Sheriff’s Office staff on Lake Koshkonong. Youth participants and staff will be fishing from pontoon boats.

All participants will be provided life jackets, fishing gear and lunch. Eventgoers will also receive a t-shirt.

The event is set to take place on June 17, from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Floating Toy, 723 East Ellendale Road in Edgerton, Wisconsin.

Guardians must be present with children at the 9:45 a.m. check-in time.
