Daly City man arrested for drunk driving crash near elementary school

(KRON) — A 50-year-old Daly City Man was arrested following a drunk driving crash near an elementary school on Monday afternoon, said the Pacifica Police Department.

PPD said the incident happened at 2:30 p.m. in the area of Vallemar Elementary School in Pacifica. Police said there were no injuries reported in the collision.

Investigators said they later determined that the man had been driving under the influence at the time of the incident. He was placed under arrest for violations, including DUI and DUI .08% blood alcohol content (BAC) or above, before being released with a criminal citation in the care of a sobering facility.
