According to the organization, P.E.P. Prep 101: Educator Edition will be geared toward teachers in Orleans Parish and offers an opportunity to collaborate and connect with peers and learn more about the “history and governance of New Orleans’ school system.”
“At alignED, we believe that educators and parents are the bridge between our schools and the communities they serve. This program strengthens that connection by equipping teachers with the knowledge and relationships needed to lead meaningful change,” said alignED CEO Dominique Simone in a news release.
The two-day event will be held on June 23 and June 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the New Orleans Career Center.
