Helicopter makes emergency landing in Montgomery County neighborhood

WHITEMARSH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPHL) — A medical helicopter made an emergency landing in Montgomery County on Monday evening.

The Whitemarsh Township Police Department says the aircraft made an emergency landing in the area of the 6000 block of Musket Road. According to reports, the helicopter landed on the lawn of someone’s home.

Officials report all crew members are safe and no injuries have been reported.

As part of the investigation, police are asking anyone who may have found debris related to the landing to contact the Whitemarsh Township Police Department by calling 9-1-1.
