Kristopher McDonald, 37, of Indianapolis, was recently found guilty by a federal jury on eight felony charges. The charges are reportedly related to a criminal enterprise he ran named “The Kristopher McDonald Organization.”
Court documents detail how McDonald “orchestrated and led” a prostitution ring in Indy by recruiting and exploiting women for commercial sex and “maintaining strict control of the operation.” Police say he used violence and death threats to punish both women and clients.
To further manipulate and control the women, McDonald reportedly forced them into addiction by supplying them with crack cocaine. Documents allege he made the women perform sex acts up to 10 times a day and would pistol-whip any woman who didn’t earn enough money.
Following a trial this month in federal court, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Monday that McDonald had been found guilty of the following:
The investigation into McDonald’s enterprise was conducted by IMPD, the ATF and the IRS. McDonald will be sentenced by Judge Tanya Walton Pratt at a later date.
