Crews respond to fire at 14th floor of San Francisco building

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Crews are responding to a fire that broke out at a residential building on Sunday in San Francisco, according to the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD). The fire broke out on the 14th floor of The Metropolitan, a condominium complex located at 333 1st Street.

SFFD received a call about the fire at around 5:51 p.m. Multiple fire trucks are at the scene responding to the blaze.

As of 6:40 p.m., the fire has been extinguished. Watch the media player above to view video from the scene of the fire.

At this time, there are no injuries or reports of any people being displaced. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
