51 acres burned in East Bay grass fire near Brentwood

(BCN) — A brush fire reached 51 acres Sunday evening in Contra Costa County, according to Cal Fire.

The blaze was first reported around 4 p.m. on social media by Cal Fire in the vicinity of Walnut Boulevard and Camino Vaqueros.

Forward progress on the fire was halted at about 5 p.m. No structures or firefighters were harmed.
