HAMER – Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:37 a.m. on Saturday, on southbound Interstate 15 near milepost 147, just south of Hamer.
A white 2014 BMW X3, driven by a 49-year-old woman from Idaho Falls, was traveling southbound when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels in a nearby field, according to an ISP news release.
The driver, who was wearing her seat-belt, sustained injuries and was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
Idaho State Police was assisted at the scene by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Hamer Fire Department, Mud Lake Ambulance, and Air Idaho.
