Chicago police say 61-year-old Carolyn Hollins has been missing since Wednesday, April 30.
Officers said she was last seen around 1 p.m. on that day in the vicinity of the intersection of West Douglas Boulevard and South Homan Avenue, in North Lawndale on the West Side.
Police say the missing woman, who has brown eyes and grey hair, stands 5-foot-7 and weighs around 210 pounds.
She was last spotted wearing a black coat, white t-shirt, black pants, and black gym shoes while carrying a black book bag that contained her identification.
Authorities provided details about the missing woman’s disappearance in a news release sent out on Friday afternoon.
A photo provided by Chicago police shows Hollins wearing a pair of black plastic-framed glasses, though it is unclear if she was wearing them at the time of her disappearance.
