“Wizard of Oz” themed prom held for patients and families of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children

PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Philadelphia anymore.

On Thursday, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children hosted a special Wizard of Oz-themed prom. The pediatric hospital teamed up with Dunkin’s Joy in Childhood Foundation to bring prom to young patients battling serious illnesses who would miss prom during their treatment.

The foundation provided a $33,650 grant to the hospital to help support and fund the prom.

Prom-goers enjoyed dinner, a DJ, a photo booth, crafts, games, and much more. The Dunkin’ Community Cruiser also brought treats for patients to enjoy.
