Tornado and hail leaves severe damages across the Tri-State

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Following Friday night’s storms, emergency crews are continuing to assess damages across the Tri-State.

The storms reportedly included softball-sized hail and a tornado that touched down in Morganfield, Kentucky.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is also investigating a fatal crash near the Henderson County line. Authorities say the crash involved was found partially submerged in flood water.

Tornado touches down in Union County

A tornado reportedly ripped through parts of Union County, including Morganfield. Emergency crews are continuing to clean up debris.
