According to the Philadelphia Police Department, officers responded just after 6 p.m. Thursday to a call for a person with a gun at 1700 Lindley Avenue. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive 18-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead less than a half hour later.
A second victim, a 16-year-old male, was also at the scene. Police say he had gunshot wounds to his hands and legs. He was also taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he is in serious, but stable condition.
Police describe the suspect as a man in his late 20s to early 30s, with locs and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a gray design on the front and a large chain with a medallion around his neck. Police believe he may go by the nickname “Feek.”
He was last seen fleeing westbound on Lindley Avenue from Broad Street toward Carlisle Street.
