A storm with severe weather potential is continuing to sweep in from the west, bringing with it chances of hail, damaging winds, flooding and even tornadoes. A Tornado Watch was issued for most of central Indiana until 11 p.m., with damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes listed as the primary threats.
Indianapolis can expect these storms to arrive and hit the metro area between 6 and 9 p.m. The National Weather Service said damaging winds of 70+ mph are possible in some areas. To view photos of the storm damage that have been streaming into our newsroom, click here.
