OPD said its officers spotted an occupied vehicle in the 200 block of Hegenberger Loop, just before 1:15 p.m., that was tied to the crime that occurred Thursday in the 3700 block of Green Acre Road. Police said the victim was assaulted during that incident, and their belongings were taken by the suspect who drove away from the scene.
“Officers were able to safely detain the individual pending further investigation,” said Oakland police in a news release.
