Suspect accused of north Abilene stabbing indicted

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A suspect accused of stabbing a victim in a north Abilene street and then fleeing the scene has been indicted.

Masion Boyd was indicted by a Taylor County Grand Jury for Aggravated Assault and Deadly Conduct in connection to the incident, which occurred at a home near the intersection of N 14th Street and Glenhaven Drive in December 2024.

Witnesses told KTAB and KRBC that a young man on a motorcycle in the area when he stopped next to another young man, later identified as Boyd, who was standing in the street.

Witnesses then watched the young man on the motorcycle collapse. Boyd fled on foot.

Boyd was arrested later that day and has remained in the Taylor County Jail ever since on bonds totaling $200,000.
