Around 3:08 a.m. on Friday, Petaluma police were contacted regarding a robbery at a 7-Eleven on Redwood Highway.
The reporting party informed authorities that a male suspect entered the store when only the cashier was present and demanded money from the register. Petaluma PD said the suspect lifted his shirt to reveal his concealed gun and threatened to kill the employee. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands.
Police said officers searched the surrounding area, but were unsuccessful in locating the suspect.
The suspect was described as a man who was around 5 feet 7 inches, according to police. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark sweatshirt with a multicolored graphic, gray sweatpants, red socks, black and white shoes and a ski mask covering his face.
