Man dead, other in critical condition after shooting in Southwest Philadelphia

(WPHL) — A man has died, and another is recovering in the hospital in critical condition after a shooting occurred in Southwest Philadelphia.

According to the Philadelphia Police, the shooting occurred on May 15 at 5:18 p.m. on the 2200 block of South Felton Street.

Police say a man was found with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:37 p.m.

A second male was also transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center with a gunshot wound. He is currently in critical condition, police say.
