Riot Fest announces daily lineups

CHICAGO — Riot Fest has announced the daily lineups for the three-day festival in September.

Blink-182 is headlining Friday, Weezer and Jack White are headlining Saturday and Green Day is headlining on Sunday.

The festival takes place Sept. 19-21 at Douglass Park.

Riot Fest began in 2005 at venues like Metro, Congress and Subterranean. In 2012, it moved outdoors to Humboldt Park and its been in Douglass Park since 2015.

“We didn’t plan on making it for twenty years. We planned on making it through one weekend. But here we are — still loud, still weird, still building something bigger than we ever meant to,” said founder “Riot Mike” Petryshyn.
