Loyola baseball topped Ave Maria 8-4 Thursday morning to punch its ticket to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.
The Wolfpack was a No. 2 seed in the Waleska (Georgia) bracket, hosted by Reinhardt. Loyola topped Oakland City, 7-4, and Reinhardt 7-6. The Wolfpack ran into some trouble Wednesday, falling to Ave Maria 9-8 but bounced back Wednesday morning, beating the Gyrenes 8-4 to punch their ticket.
The full NAIA World Series bracket hasn’t been released yet, but it will take place May 23-31.
